I am a woman on a mission of change the perception of Interior Design.
I graduated from The Arts Institute International Minnesota in 2007, with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Interior Design. I started this firm shortly after and decided I would be an asset that everyone could afford. Growing as a Designer over the years, working all sorts of budgets and spaces has shaped my ability to be relatable, aware of the stress involved, and fun to work with.
I work side by side with the contractor to ensure a project goes smoothly from consult to completion. That is something that truly sets me apart...I have learned some of the construction business, I have cultivated relationships, I can do home improvement things myself... I learned. I also offer the ability to get trade pricing so that in many cases people save more than they spend on PID services!
I am a mom of three kids, and they mean the world to me. They love being a part of these spaces, from "coming to work"(jobsite to see progress) or seeing the after pictures. I will get to know your family too, so when I select items for the space it's what you never knew you wanted...and that's the magic of using a ME...
an Interior Designer!
I’m currently finishing my degree at Augsburg University with a major in Marketing and a minor in International Business. While I’m not obtaining an Interior Design degree, I’ve been able to share my knowledge of marketing into areas of PID that are more behind the scenes. However, for as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved Interior Design.
Growing up, I watched shows such as This Old House and HGTV and was in awe at what can be achieved whether the renovation was big or small. That feeling stuck with me year after year and when I stumbled across Jeanna’s business card I knew I had to take a leap of faith. I want to help individuals feel what I felt at the end of the renovation shows and seeing the final space for the first time.
I love helping people find their style! At times we try to have our spaces fall into being magazine or social media perfect but let’s face it, that’s not reality. It doesn’t matter how much money you have to spend, you can achieve your vision whether it’s through repurposing, buying new or both.
Every space has its own story to tell and I want to help achieve that. I’ll be there alongside you to help pick items that both function in your everyday life, but also may push the boundaries of what you may not have even thought was possible for your space. Whether it’s a quick paint job or a complete remodel, it’s my goal and passion to give every client a space they can call their own.
My life has always been in a constant state of change. My family moved about every 3 years, 10 times in a row from state to state throughout my life, so it forced me to become a very outgoing person. We ended up in Nebraska, and there I graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha, with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising. I spent the next few years as the Suites and Events Manager of the Baxter Arena in Omaha, and decided I was ready for a big change, on my own.
Moving so often prepared me for the move, and I knew I could figure out life and make new friends all on my own. I have lived in Uptown Minneapolis for the last 3 years, and have loved getting familiar with this new amazing state of Minnesota. My background while here has been Wedding and Event Planning. I enjoyed being able to work with all kinds of people, and see the looks on their faces when their dreams and visions come to life!
My gear shifted in 2020, into a passion and dream I have personally always had, Interior Design. Styling spaces has been something I've loved doing since I was young, and there is something about absolutely loving and being connected with the space you live in. My goal is to give that same feeling to my clients. Design Style is something that is personal and different for everyone, and there’s nothing like showing clients something they never imagined possible for their home that they maybe wouldn’t have thought of themselves.
