Affordable Open Concept Kicthen-

I am lucky enough to get most of my business from referrals. This project came to me by Landmark Remodeling. Brian and Gabrielle were not only new home owners, they were new, first-time parents.

They had recently bought their first home in Plymouth, near Medicine Lake. They loved the lot, neighborhood, and the potential.

They knew they needed new windows and a safer railing (it was wobbly and their baby would be mobile faster than knew it). They also wanted to create an open concept main floor to entertain and have family friendly functionality.

We immediately talked layout, products, budget, and it became very clear to me that they had more projects than funds and if I was going to give them their needs and wants I would have to get creative!

Challenge Accepted!!!

Due to schedule conflicts, Landmark Remodeling could not proceed with the project, so with Landmark’s approval I enlisted Tschida Construction.

BEFORE

-Before: kitchen

-Before: dining room into living/kitchen wall

-Before: Living Room into Dining/Kitchen

-Before: Entry

We moved forward with plans to remove the two walls closing off the kitchen from dining and living. Neither were load bearing and crucial to make the impact they envisioned since they toured the home before purchasing.

We also decided to wall up the opening overlooking the entry. It would make the wntry seem darker and smaller, BUT it would make the layout options I was considering possible.

Of course the soffits has to go! New flooring, cabinets, counters, backsplash... all the things to update the space from 1980 to 2020.

I‘ll dive into selections, solutions that were budget friendly, and during pics tomorrow!

Thank you for joining in and reading! I hope you got an insight into what we do, who we work with, the reality behind making old spaces new, and how awesome are clients are! click here to subscribe:)
