Client- Miranda Smith: Master Bedroom
Tackling the Portland, OR master suite was a challenge because of it's sheer size...it's huge and only one person using it. Add in that the client loves minimalism and black and white... getting a color in there was a battle... that I won! Gold and blush pink made their way in I am so glad they did. The canopy bed from CB2 provided scale and drama and the velvet chairs from West Elm provide a seating area and that small touch of color bouncing around the room. We also added numerous hardwired lighting, such as the bedside sconces pictured above that definitely took it from builder grade to custom home.
-Spacious master suite with a lot of potential!
Bedroom- all new furniture/bedding/art/lighting
Bathroom- add chandelier over freestanding tub, switch chrome hardware to matte black, switch out vanity lighting
Closet- add pendant lighting and organizational systems
MASTER CLOSET AFTER
-Master bedroom closet: Added two hardwired pendants from Rejunvenation, changed out chrome hardware on drawers to matte black, and added closet organization. Notice how all her clothes are black and white... I wasn't kidding about monochromatic!
MASTER BATHROOM AFTER
-In this spacious master bathroom we installed a new modern chandelier over the tub, changed out the vanity lights, and swapped out the chrome cabinet hardware for matte black.
