Plymouth Two-Story Fireplace

Sometimes a small change can make a huge impact. In this space we determined the fireplace tile needed to span the whole way to draw your eye up, create some weight, and allow for it to truly be the focal point. We presented a few ideas and we are so glad they chose the one they did!

Custom mantle by Pro Design Custom Cabinetry brought the white from their baseboard trim and kitchen cabinets.

Bloomington LOVE  Tub Remodel

Referred by Barry at The Tile Shop, Landmark Remodeling and PID transformed this comically outdated space into a stunning retreat. We even paid homage to the LOVE tiles by including their grandkids in the tub as art in the space. We had a pretty tight budget and saved money by doing furniture pieces instead of custom cabinetry and doing a fiberglass shower base instead of a tiled shower pan.

Mound Owner's Bathroom

Alongside Integrity Remodeling and Design Group we took this large bathroom and made it have a distinct personality unique to the home owner's desires. We added special details in the ceiling with stained ship lap feature and matching custom mirrors. We added bead board to match the re-painted existing cabinetry. Lastly we chose tile that had a warm, slightly rustic feel.

Minnetonka Family Room Update

After completing their powder room remodel with Landmark Remodeling the homeowners wanted to continue the long awaited updating they were wanting to do to your home. They weren't ready for the kitchen or basement, so we chose to do the family room adjacent to the kitchen. We painted and tiled the fireplace, installed luxury vinyl plank, painted the walls, and got new furniture and window treatments.

Rogers Two Story Addition

Tschida Construction and Pro Design Custom Cabinetry joined us for a 4 season sunroom addition with a basement addition to be finished at a later date. We also included a quick laundry/garage entry update with a custom made locker unit and barn door. We incorporated dark stained beams in the vaulted ceiling to match the elements in the barn door and locker wood bench top. We were able to re-use the slider door and reassemble their deck to the addition to save a ton of money.

Minnetonka Powder Bath

A referral from Landmark remodeling and friends of previous clients, we were hired for a test run of the first of many projects on their home improvement list. We added shiplap, and changed out the floor to a statement penny round tile. A simple upgrade that was to set the tone for the future remodels in their home.

Minnetonka Main Floor Bath

Another project by Landmark Remodeling, Pro Design Custom Cabinetry and Pinnacle Interior Designs. This main floor bath is shared by the mom, dad, and two boys so we had to think about how all users can utilize the space and enjoy it. We also wanted to be budget conscience so that we could possibly do their outdated kitchen as well. We had a dark stained custom vanity and a custom mirror to give the homeowner their dream look and cost effective tile and light choices to balance out.

When a client's son reached out wanting to remodel two bathrooms I was so excited because, one I loved their style, and two it meant I got to continue the relationship. They just had a baby and to brave remodeling in a pandemic was mind blowing. We did some creative consults, but Landmark Remodeling and the PID pulled it off.

Maple Grove 20 year Dream

Twenty years is a long time to hate something. So when we met with our clients for the first time and they told us they have wanted to do this since they moved in we made it our mission to make sure it was their dream space! We removed not one, but two walls, relocated the laundry, made a built-in locker unit, a bar, a new dining space. and a giant island. Supported by Landmark Remodeling, we exceeded their expectations and a space that should bring pride for the next twenty years.

Updating for aesthetics is one thing, but for function is a lot harder. You have to really think about who is using the space, how they are using it, and still make it look good. This bathroom is shared by two kids, and in the future an au pair. So there needed to be a lot of closed storage, which we had a custom built in to match the cost effective furniture vanity we sourced from Wayfair. Partnered with Landmark Remodeling and Pro Design Custom Cabinetry to make this a success.

Minnetonka Kitchen& Dining

Alongside Landmark Remodeling, we took an underutilized space with good square footage and maxed it out. I remember telling them I could give them a massive island and both homeowners faces show doubt at what I said we'd deliver. They also wanted color and something bold, so we went with a merlot colored island and a bold, stone mosaic back splash.

Maple Grove Remodel to Sell

We brought in to discuss a major remodel, but after contractor input we had to have a very difficult conversation with the clients that we should update the main floor bath, kitchen, paint, carpet, and lights, and move on. The house no longer fit their needs and the return on investment in the level of remodel they needed wasn't there. So, Landmark and PID did a cost effective updates to help get them to the next phase in their journey as a family.

Maple Grove Laundry

Long time client brought us back to tackle their long-hated laundry room. We paired with Stoltz Installation & Carpentry put in a herringbone natural stone floor, created a custom locker unit and above unit custom uppers, new lighting, and got rid of popcorn ceilings. They love it so much that we rolled right into a kitchen remodel.

Stillwater to Sell

When my realtor asked me to help her sell her father-in-law's house I was excited to put my skills to good use. They got over asking, all cash with some very strategical remodeling. Making it brighter, functional, and fresh, this space was ready to move right in after we were done.

When a visit about what I do at a kid's sports practice turns into a major renovation... that is what happened on this project. The client's paired with PID and Stoltz Installation & Carpentry to keep their style and warm tones but get rid of ugly wall paper, numerous floors, unfunctional layout, and laminate counters. This transitional space was all created during unprecedented times and raised their spirits once it was completed.

Plymouth Master Bath

Referred by a past customer, this space was in need of some love. As with most young, professional parents, it was the last space to be updated and they were so very ready (and deserving) to create a tranquil retreat to enjoy just for themselves. We made subtle, yet stunning design choices that put a modern twist on a otherwise transitional feeling design.

S. Minneapolis Kitchen Remodel

Mixing business with pleasure can be hard and sometimes something to avoid, but when my long time close friend enlisted me to design their kitchen I was humbled and excited! They wanted to keep with the architectural of their bungalow home and make sure you didn't walk in and have open concept, but have it feel out of place. They had another good friend to do the construction end and we worked as a team to get them their space as soon as possible.

Affordable Plymouth Remodel

First time home owners and new parents trusted Tschida Construction and myself to remodel their first floor public space into a functional and affordable solution! Utilizing trade discounts, cost effective alternatives, and a little homeowner DIY we spent way less than you can guess without sacrificing style.

S. Minneapolis Laundry/Powder

When I got the request to help make an unfinished laundry room finished I was excited for a few reasons. First, I knew the clients and second they had a very modern style and that was going to be refreshing from what I had been doing then. We made a previously nonexistent powder bathroom that is not only functional, but fun. This one went from seen as scary to unexpected.

Edina Kitchen Update

After thoughtful consideration of what level of remodeling is best, PID paired with Landmark remodeling to give this kitchen a much need breath of fresh life. These transplant Minnesotans bought the house for the area and schools and knew there were less than desirable spaces that had to be temporarily overlooked. I think it's safe to say it not only made the homeowners overjoyed, but it will make re-sale a breeze!
